Kinzer Finds Victory Lane for First Time in Mountain View Raceway Debut!
(June 4, 2021)
The Kinzer Motorsports team celebrated in victory lane for the first time in 2021 on Saturday night, May 29 in their first ever trip to Mountain View Raceway in Spring City, Tennessee! Brandon Kinzer earned Fast Time honors during Open Wheel Modified qualifying and later started the 15-lap weekly feature event from the pole position. Brandon then grabbed the top spot on the opening lap and was able to hold the point for each circuit to bag the $700 winner's check ahead of Kirk Turner, Travis Sietsema, Wayne James, and Billy Palmer! The Memorial Day weekend doubleheader for the #18 team then wrapped up on Monday, May 31 at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee. A $1,000 top prize was up for grabs for the Open Wheel warriors on the undercard of the 'Scott Sexton Memorial.' Brandon stopped the clock second fastest overall during the qualifying session to earn the outside of the front row for the headliner. After battling for the lead in the early stages of the contest, the Lexington, Kentucky ace eventually wound up fourth in the final finishing order behind only victor Cole Falloway, Michael Asberry, and Peyton Harlow. Complete results from both holiday weekend events can be viewed online at www.mountainviewraceway.com and www.411motorspeedway.net.

"It was good to get back into victory lane again and especially at a track that we've never been to," quoted Kinzer this week following the triumph in Spring City. "They have a heck of a facility there and I really enjoyed racing at Mountain View. Then at 411, we had a fast MB Customs car there as well on Memorial Day. I just got boxed in and was in the wrong place at the wrong time on a couple of occasions that dropped us back. Hopefully we can put together another good weekend in the upcoming days at Crossville and back at Mountain View!"

Kinzer Motorsports will jump right back into competition on June 4-5 in the Volunteer State. A $600 to win weekly event will take place for the Open Wheel Modifieds later tonight at Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee. Saturday's stop will be back at Mountain View Raceway in Spring City, Tennessee, as another $700 paycheck will be on the line.
