Runner-Up
Performance for Kinzer in Baltes Classic; Rockcastle Special Ahead
(September 7, 2023) Brandon Kinzer entered one lone Open
Wheel Modified event over the busy Labor Day holiday weekend, as
he tackled the annual ‘Baltes Classic’ at the famed
Eldora Speedway. The 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant shelled out
a $1,000 winner’s check for the open wheel warriors on Sunday,
September 3. Brandon won his heat race at the Rossburg, Ohio facility
and later started the 20-lap main event from the outside of the
fourth row. BK then advanced past six competitors during the contest
to land in the runner-up spot behind only victor Jeff Koz! Full
results can be accessed by clicking on www.eldoraspeedway.com.
Next up on the racing calendar for Kinzer Motorsports will be a
visit to Rockcastle Speedway in Mount Vernon, Kentucky this Saturday
evening, September 9. The ‘Sandy Adams Memorial’ will
be sanctioned by the Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Racing Series
and a hefty $5,000 top prize will be up for grabs. Brandon will
bring the series point lead into Rockcastle on Saturday, as he guns
for his second straight Championship. Additional information on
the ‘Sandy Adams Memorial,’ which also boasts a plethora
of extra bonus money, can be found online by clicking on www.rockcastlespeedway.com.
