Brandon
Kinzer Runner-Up in Fall Classic Finale; Whynot Motorsports Park
Next
(October
7, 2022) Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team found themselves
in the pit area at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky
on September 30-October 1 for the 32nd Annual 'Fall Classic' weekend.
On Friday night in the $1,500 to win opener for the Open Wheel Modifieds,
Brandon laid down the fourth quickest lap overall during time trials
to earn the outside of the second row for the start of the 20-lap
feature event. Unfortunately, Brandon was bounced around at the
drop of the green flag in the contest and wound up slipping back
to a seventh place effort. (Ryan Roberts Photography)
In a similar $1,500 to win program on Saturday evening, BK clicked
off the third fastest time in qualifying prior to starting the 20-lapper
from the inside of the second row. The Kentucky-turned-Florida native
then advanced up to second in the running order and eventually netted
an impressive runner-up performance behind only victor Cole Falloway!

The Kinzer Motorsports team is now set to take the next two weekends
off from racing action. Their next scheduled event will take place
at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi on October 21-22.
The 28th edition of the ‘Coors Light Fall Classic’ will
be held that weekend with qualifying and heat races for the Open
Wheel Modifieds slated for Friday night. The A-Main will then take
place on Saturday evening and a $2,000 paycheck will be up for grabs.
