Leads Early in Reutimann Memorial; Readies for 411’s Leftover
(November 23, 2022) The Kinzer Motorsports team ventured
south to Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida on November
18-19 for the ninth edition of the 'Reutimann Memorial.' A strong
contingent of 54 open wheel warriors converged at the 1/2-mile speedplant
to do battle for the $7,000 first place prize money. On Friday night
during preliminary action, Brandon Kinzer stopped the clock fifth
quickest in Group A in qualifying and later finished an impressive
second in his showdown feature behind only winner Zeke McKenzie.

After drawing the number one pill on Saturday, Brandon earned the
rights to the coveted pole position for the 50-lap headliner. The
Kentucky-turned-Florida ace then led the opening handful of laps
in the 'Reutimann Memorial' and was poised to knock down a solid
top five performance in the contest. However, while running fourth
on lap 35, a broken wheel took the #18 team out of contention and
relegated BK to a disappointing nineteenth place performance. Complete
results from the 'Reutimann Memorial' at VSP can be located online
by clicking on www.volusiaspeedwaypark.com.
Brandon and Kinzer Motorsports will jump right back into Open Wheel
Modified action - weather pending - on November 25-26 at 411 Motor
Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee. The double-dip at the Volunteer
State oval will kick off on Friday with a $500 to win main event.
The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will then roll
into town on Saturday to preside over the ‘Leftover’
finale, which will boast a $1,500 payday. Additional information
