Wraps Up 2022 Campaign with Pair of Top Fives in 411’s Leftover
(November
30, 2022) Brandon Kinzer and the Kinzer Motorsports team
closed out their version of the 2022 racing season with a Thanksgiving
Day weekend doubleheader at 411 Motor Speedway on November 25-26.
On Friday in the 'Leftover' opener at the Seymour, Tennessee oval,
Brandon laid down the ninth quickest lap overall during the Open
Wheel Modified qualifying session prior to starting the $500 to
win headliner from the inside of the fifth row. BK then streaked
towards the front early in the contest and ultimately advanced all
the way up to second to finish an impressive runner-up behind only
victor Clayton Miller! (Chad Wells Photo)
In the season finale on Saturday at 411 Motor Speedway, Brandon
clicked off the sixth fastest time overall during Brucebilt Performance
Iron-Man Modified Series qualifying to earn the rights to the outside
of the third row for the start of the 25-lap main event. The Freeport,
Florida driver was then able to move up inside of the top five during
the race and ultimately placed fifth behind only $1,500 winner Clayton
Miller, Brandon Hutchinson, Lucas Lee, and Jacob Hall. Complete
results from both 'Leftover' events can be found online by accessing
www.411motorspeedway.net.
Now that the 2022 campaign is officially over, the #18 team can
look back fondly on what was a strong year. Brandon entered a total
of twenty-five (25) Open Wheel Modified events across the states
of Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and North
Carolina. He was able to reach victory lane on nine (9) different
occasions, while racking up seventeen (17) top fives and nineteen
(19) top tens.
Brandon also parlayed strong efforts throughout the year with the
