Brandon Kinzer Set to Return to Action Saturday at Smoky Mountain
(April 9, 2019) After nearly a year out of the cockpit of his #18 Sweet-Bloomquist racecar due to a back injury, Brandon Kinzer is set to make a return to Super Late Model competition this Saturday night, April 13 at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee! The Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series will roll into Smoky Mountain on Saturday to preside over a $10,000 to win throwdown. McDowell Lands in Top Ten in World Finals Opener at Charlotte
(November 4, 2018) The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series wrapped up their 2018 season at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina from November 1-3 in the 12th annual running of the 'World of Outlaws World Finals' presented by Can-Am. A pair of $12,000 to win contests were held in front of a standing-room-only crowd at the Charlotte-area speedplant. During the two rounds of time trials, Dale McDowell knocked down the quickest lap in Group A for Friday's show, while posted the fastest time in Group B for Saturday's spectacular.

On Friday night, Dale ran second in his loaded heat race to earn the inside of the fourth row for the start of the 50-lap main event, which was pushed back to Saturday afternoon due to a midnight curfew. The Chickamauga, Georgia standout, who was once again wheeling a Kinzer Motorsports machine, eventually landed in the tenth finishing position during the daytime affair. Later that evening in the 'World Finals' finale, Dale won his heat race in preliminary action, but was later an early retiree in the 50-lapper and was relegated to a twenty-third place performance. Dale McDowell and Kinzer Motorsports Find No Luck in Fall Classic...
(October 28, 2018) Kinzer Motorsports made their way to Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi on October 26-27 for the 24th Annual Coors Light 'Fall Classic.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model special drew a talented 43 car field to the Magnolia State facility to vie for the $15,000 winner's check. On Friday night during the qualifying session, Dale McDowell timed in fifteenth fastest in Group A on the rugged, rough racing surface. Dale then finished seventh in his stacked heat race on Saturday evening and was later caught up in a pileup during his consolation event. Unfortunately, the Chickamauga, Georgia ace was not able to transfer into the 100-lap headliner that was eventually won by Devin Moran. McDowell Wheels Kinzer Machine to Eleventh Place DTWC Finish
(October 22, 2018) Next up on the racing calendar for Kinzer Motorsports was a visit to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio from October 19-21 for the 38th edition of the 'Dirt Track World Championship.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season finale took place at the facility on the banks of the Ohio River and a gargantuan $100,000 paycheck was on the line. Dale McDowell took the win in his first heat race on Friday night before placing seventh in his final prelim. After scoring a triumph in Saturday's consolation race, Dale rolled off from the outside of the ninth row in the 100-lap DTWC that was eventually pushed back to Sunday afternoon due to inclement weather. The Chickamauga, Georgia standout - despite getting caught up in a lap 44 pileup - was able to climb up to the eleventh finishing position in the crown jewel headliner. Dale McDowell Back Behind the Wheel for Kinzer in Tarheel 50
(September 29, 2018) Dale McDowell, of Chickamauga, Georgia, jumped back behind the wheel of a Kinzer Motorsports entry on Friday night, September 28 in the 15th edition of the 'Tarheel 50' at Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, North Carolina. Dale knocked down the quickest lap of the 20 entrants during Southern Nationals Bonus Series qualifying prior to running second in the Fast Dash. After rolling off from the outside of the front row and leading the first 22 circuits in the $10,000 to win affair, Dale was knocked out of the race with a flat right rear tire and was relegated to fourteenth in the final finishing order. McDowell Drives Kinzer Motorsports Entry to Dirt Million Top Ten!
(August 26, 2018) The Kinzer Motorsports team and driver Dale McDowell ventured to the immaculate Mansfield Motor Speedway in Mansfield, Ohio from August 24-25 for the inaugural running of the 'Dirt Million.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series was the sanctioning body of choice for the two-day spectacular, which kicked off on Friday night with a pair of $10,000 to win 'Dirt Million' duels. Dale ran second in his heat race and later started/finished seventh in his 30-lap duel.

On Saturday evening at Mansfield, a standing-room-only crowd poured into the facility to witness the most lucrative Super Late Model race in 2018, as the 'Dirt Million' paid a whopping nearly $203,000 to the winner. Dale won his heat race in preliminary action and later drew the tenth starting spot prior to the drop of the green flag in the 100-lap headliner. "MacDaddy" would go on to bag another top ten performance, as he crossed underneath the checkers in the eighth finishing position. (July 28, 2018) The 2018 version of the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series wrapped up tonight at the bad-fast Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee. Dale McDowell, who once again piloted a Kinzer Motorsports entry, stopped the clock second quickest overall during the qualifying session before taking the victory in heat race action. After leading the first 21 circuits of the $10,000 to win series finale, Dale was hit in lapped traffic by Michael Chilton and suffered a flat left rear tire. The Chickamauga, Georgia star then had to rally from the tail end of the field in the 53-lap affair to salvage a fifth place showing behind only victor Brandon Overton, Donald McIntosh, Michael Chilton, and Casey Roberts. Dale wound up second in the final version of the Southern Nationals Series point standings - only eight markers behind series champion Casey Roberts!

(July 27, 2018) The penultimate event of the 2018 Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series tour took the Kinzer Motorsports team to Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee tonight, as a $5,300 winner's check was scheduled to be up for grabs. However, heavy rain showers passed through the area following qualifying, which wiped out the remainder of the program. A make-up date as not yet been announced by series and track officials. Dale McDowell did post the fifth quickest lap in Group B during time trials before Mother Nature intervened at the Volunteer State speedplant.

(July 26, 2018) The next leg on the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series took Dale McDowell and the Kinzer Motorsports team to Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee tonight for a $3,500 to win tilt. Dale clicked off the third quickest time in Group B during qualifying, which automatically locked him into the outside of the third row for the start of the 35-lap affair. The Chickamauga, Georgia star was then able to work his way past a trio of competitors to land on the podium in third behind only victor Brandon Overton and runner-up Casey Roberts.

(July 24, 2018) The Kinzer Motorsports team and driver Dale McDowell were back on the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals trail tonight at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia. The Chattanooga-area facility drew a 28 car field and each competitor had their sights set on the $3,500 payday. Dale stopped the clock second quickest in Group B during time trials prior to rolling off from the outside of the second row in the 35-lap headliner. "MacDaddy" ran third most of the distance, but worked past Randy Weaver for second on lap 31 and quickly caught leader Vic Hill. Dale made a strong bid for his second series win of 2018, but finished a very close runner-up - a scant 0.058 seconds - behind Hill!

(July 22, 2018) The Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series headed to northern Georgia tonight for another $5,300 to win contest at Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia. Dale McDowell posted the third quickest time in Group A during the qualifying session and later started the 53-lap feature event from the inside of the third row. Dale was then running in the eighth position late in the feature distance before an unfortunate incident with Michael Page. Due to Dale getting out of his car to have a friendly conversation with Page, series officials dropped the Chickamauga, Georgia ace to twenty-second in the final finishing order.

(July 21, 2018) With Screven Motor Speedway's Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series showdown falling by the wayside days ago due to inclement weather, Swainsboro Raceway stepped up to the plate to hold a second straight $5,300 to win program tonight at the Swainsboro, Georgia facility. Dale McDowell wheeled the Kinzer Motorsports entry to the second fastest lap in Group B during time trials and later started the 53-lap headliner from the outside of the second row. During the course of the race, which was contested on a one-groove racing surface, Dale moved up to third to land on the podium once again behind only victor Brandon Overton and runner-up Ross Bailes.

(July 20, 2018) Next up on the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series grind was a visit today to Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia, as a $5,300 top prize was on the line. Dale McDowell drove the Kinzer Motorsports machine to the third quickest time in Group B during qualifying, which locked him into the outside of the third row for the start of the 53-lap contest. (July 19, 2018) After competing in the first couple of Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series battles in his regular Shane McDowell Racing (SMR) ride, Dale McDowell plans to complete the miniseries behind the wheel of a Kinzer Motorsports entry. Tonight at Toccoa Raceway in Toccoa, Georgia, Dale clicked off the second quickest lap in Group B during the qualifying session and later started the $3,500 to win feature event from the outside of the second row. The Chickamauga, Georgia ace then drove past one competitor during the course of the 35-lapper to land on the podium in the third spot behind only victor Brandon Overton and runner-up Casey Roberts!

McDowell Drives Kinzer Motorsports Entry at 201, PRP, & Mansfield
(July 2, 2018) Dale McDowell jumped behind the wheel of a Kinzer Motorsports entry from June 29-July 1 in the states of Kentucky and Ohio. On Friday night at 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky, a $10,000 winner's check was on the line in a Schaeffer's Oil Iron-Man Championship Series battle. Dale ran fifth in his heat race, but later won his consolation event to earn the inside of the ninth row starting spot in the 50-lap feature event. Unfortunately, a wrong tire selection in the headliner caused Dale to go a lap down early and he later retired after seventeen circuits in the twenty-third position.

A pair of $12,000 top prizes were then up for grabs with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio and at Mansfield Motor Speedway in Mansfield, Ohio. On Saturday evening at PRP, Dale grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race before advancing up to finish eleventh in the final rundown of the 'Independence 50.' At Mansfield on Sunday, the Chickamauga, Georgia standout ran third in his heat race prior to starting/finishing ninth in the 'Freedom 50.'
